The cybersecurity landscape is rapidly evolving, and has been for some time. Today, it is more crucial than ever to have the capability to monitor and detect what is happening within an organization’s digital infrastructure. For this, services such as SOC (Security Operations Center) and SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) are needed. We need to detect unwanted events so that we can act quickly.

What are SOC and SIEM? Should they be purchased as a service or can they be built in-house? If building in-house, what is required? Can and should all organizations have their own SOC?
